The Hippo-Colombian War was a prolonged conflict between the Glorious 40,000 Post Reich of the Flying Purple Hippos Clan and the Republic of Colombia. It resulted in the loss of the entire expeditionary force sent by the Reich, making it the FPH Clan's worst military failure yet.

Prelude[]

Colombia killed a hippo.[1]

Flying Purple Invasion[]

Following the horrid deeds by the Colombians, formal contact with the Colombians was sought by the Ministry of the Exterior. In response to an alleged violation of every military treaty ever, the Reich did not recall its ambassador, kept its embassy open, maintained Colombian trade contacts, and declared war upon Colombia.[2]

The Reich sent a military expedition to Colombia with aims to rescue innocent hippos, capture or kill those responsible for the murder of innocent hippo Pepe, and conquer Colombia. Despite excellent reconnaisance by the Purple Intelligence Agency's best operative, the expedition was a miserable failure and the entire force was lost in the jungles.

Aftermath[]

SoggyFrog was demoted for his dishonorable conduct during the Expedition.[3] The War in Leeds was suspended because we ran out of soldiers to fight for us.

Also Colombia probably killed more hippos.
